Individual Letter Coloring

Materials Needed

•You will need a color scheme for this tutorial, you can find some here


Step One

Start with opening up a new document, and typing out your text using the text tool Use a dark color like black. Once you have done that you are going to pick a color scheme, and open that up in photoshop. You can use either the color scheme I have provided or another one. This is what you should have so far.

Step Two


Still using the text tool you are going use your mouse and highlight the first letter. This is the same technique you would use to copy and paste on the internet or in a word document. It should look something like this.

Step Three


On the top there will be a bar, that shows the font , font size and more. Click on the letter color. Another window will pop up, and your tool will automatically change to the eye dropper tool. Click the first color of your color scheme, and this will change the letter to the color.

Step Four

Repeat this steps over until you have all your letters changed to colors. You should have something that looks like this
